The Colorado Association for Viticulture & Enology annually awards numerous scholarships to current CAVE members seeking to further their education in enology, viticulture, or curriculum with an emphasis in the wine and grape industry. The awards are not in predetermined amounts and may vary from year to year. All scholarship recommendations made by the Scholarship Committee are subject to final approval by the CAVE Board of Directors.

CAVE does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, religion, gender, or physical/mental disabilities.

Previous applicants and recipients are eligible to reapply for the CAVE Scholarship Program each year in open competition with new applicants. Current CAVE Board Members and staff may not apply.

CAVE reserves the rights not to award scholarships at all in any given year.


All of the following requirements must be met:

  • All applicants must be current CAVE members or students currently enrolled in viticulture or enology programs.
  • All applicants must fill out this form completely. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • If selected, scholarship recipient agrees to provide a written report of what conference, lecture or class they attended and what they gained from the experience no later than December 1st, 2020. A verbal report may be requested at the VinCO Conference & Trade Show during the CAVE Membership Meeting as well.
  • Current CAVE Board Members may not apply for a CAVE Scholarship.
