2014 Colorado Wine Week Schedule
In 2011, Gov. John Hickenlooper, a former brewing industry leader who has been a huge supporter of local everything, declared the first week of June “Colorado Wine Week” to coincide with the first annual Colorado Urban Winefest.
It has grown to feature seven days of local wine celebration!
May 31: Manitou Springs Wine Festival
25 Colorado Wineries will be pouring tastings of their wines as well as selling bottles of wine in the unofficial kickoff to wine week, set against the beautiful backdrop of Pikes Peak. Tickets available through Manitou Springs Chamber of Commerce.
June 1: Farm-to-Turntable Keg Wine Party
Infinite Monkey Theorem 3200 Larimer St. Denver, CO
Several top wines will be served from the tap during this food and wine celebration to officially kick off Colorado Wine Week. There will be music, five courses of passed food from top Denver restaurants, and plenty of keg wine! Ticket price includes food, entertainment and one glass of wine. A portion of the proceeds support Heroes Like Us, a chef-driven non-profit that fights childhood hunger.

The Green Russell 1422 Larimer St., Denver
Joe Hines has been the king of terrior-inspired cocktail, winning the first two Colorado Wine Cocktail Competition. See if he can take home No. 3 against stiff competition from Denver’s top bartenders in this contest that features Colorado wine inspired drinks.
June 6: Governor’s Cup Wine Mixer
