Boulder Creek Winery

Boulder Creek Winery is a family-run winery in north Boulder that sources its grapes from the Western Slope. It’s run by winemaker Jackie Thompson, husband Mike who handles business and marketing, and son Will, who serves as assistant winemaker. It has established itself as one of the state’s most consistently awarded wineries since opening in 2003, having captured Colorado’s first Jefferson Cup and several Best of Show awards in both local and national competitions.

Boulder Creek focuses on old-word style wines, meaning they are structured and food-friendly. It features a unique wine club that allows its members to vote on the final blend of the annual Consensus release, a reserve red wine.

The tasting room is open 1 p.m. to 5:30 pm Thursday through Sunday. Wine tastings are $5 per person (refundable with a two bottle purchase).
